High School Sailing/Race Team

It's high school sailing and race team season!  This program is designed for intermediate-advanced 420 sailors who are interested in high school sailing and/or sailing in SAYRA (South Atlantic Yacht Racing Association) regattas.  Practices will be led by certified US Sailing Instructors and will focus on race strategy, technique, racing rules, regatta planning, and on-the-water coaching.  Participants will be expected to rig boats efficiently to maximize sailing time.

Race Team fees cover the following:

~ Two practices per week, led by highly qualified coaching staff, for 6 weeks from September 16-October 21. 

~Extra weekday practices prior to the first two high school sailing regattas in mid-October. 

~Approximately 6-8 hours of practice weekly for a total of approximately 50 hours over the course of the season.

~Use of ETYSA boats during all practices and regattas.

**REGATTA FEES including registration, coaching, and lodging will be separate.**
