ETYSA's fifth camp of the summer, open to beginners, intermediate, and advanced sailors.  Must be at least 8 yrs old (as of Oct 1, 2024) and a competent swimmer to participate, and also must be a current ETYSA family or sponsor member (Family membership is $50.00 a year).  Please describe any sailing or boating experience in the comments section.   On the first day, all campers will be required to pass a water safety assessment by swimming 50 yards and treading water for 5 minutes.

ETYSA's Intro to Racing I and II is designed for camp participants who are interesting in learning the skills involved in the sport of sailing, and who have attended at least one or more weeks of summer camp.  It is not intended for first-time campers. During Intro to Racing I and II, sailors will learn tactics and skills involved in Racing Starts, Upwind Sailing, and Downwind Sailing After this week, interested sailors have the opportunity to put their new skills to the test as a part of the ETYSA Race team at the 3rd ETYSA Jr Regatta at Blackbeard Sailing Club June 29 and 30 (separate registration, not included in camp registration). Students will compete against sailors from other local sailing camps for bragging rights, and hopefully develop new friendships and confidence!  Limited camping will be available at BSC for participants. Please indicate your child's sailing experience below for proper placement; if you have questions about your child's skill level and whether this camp is appropriate, contact us at etysacamp@gmail.com  Each course starts on a Monday and runs through Friday, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.  Participants must have attended camp before (previous summers count!).   You must be a current ETYSA member to register for camp. (Family membership is $50.00 a year).

This week of camp offers Beginning and Intermediate/Advanced courses and introduces the Game of Yachting.  Please indicate your child's sailing experience below for proper placement.  Each course starts on a Monday and runs through Friday, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.  Participants must have attended camp before (previous summers count!).   You must be a current ETYSA member to register for camp. (Family membership is $50.00 a year). At ETYSA, there is a sailing program for everyone!  ETYSA's ALL LEVELS week is designed for camp participants of ALL LEVELS from those who have zero hours on the water to those who are ready to jump right into their boats and begin honing their skills!  This week of camp offers all three courses:  Introduction, Beginning, and Intermediate/Advanced.  Please indicate your child's sailing experience below for proper placement.  Depending on registration and participant interest, this week may also include an Opti Green Fleet, an introduction to the Game of Yachting, and/or learn-to-race techniques. Each course starts on a Monday and runs through Friday, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.  Participants must be 8 years old by October 1, 2023, and competent swimmers.  On the first day, all campers will be required to pass a water safety assessment by swimming 50 yards and treading water for 5 minutes.  You must be a current ETYSA member to register for camp. (Family membership is $50.00 a year).
